The DREAM

In days of old when men were men,
there lived a man named John.
He lived with his wife and their thirteen kids,
Altogether on their farm.

He'd get up with the mornin' sun and go down with it too.
But one night when John retired, his wife became untrue.

She crept up to his bedside with a hatchet in her hand.
She raised it up above her head to come down on that man.
Now as it was approaching him John opend up his eyes.
He saw that it was just a dream filled with foolish lies.

So John turned over and went back to sleep so thankful for what had been.
But in crept his wife and in her hand was a knife and she stabbed him again and again.

Now John passed over to the other side a quite a bit confused.
Not knowing if he was in a dream or his life he really did loose.
So next time when you're dreamin' don't just ignore the scene.

Search your mind and try to find what on Earth it means.
